Manoj Expo International was established in 1975 by Kantilal D. Dharamshi, manufacturing high quality scarves. The business grew steadily on that foundation and is today run by his sons, Manoj K. Dharamshi and Bhavesh K. Dharamshi. Fifty years on, the larger part of our output is private label womenswear for export. We make dresses, tops and co-ord sets to buyers' own specifications, with scarves, shawls and cover-ups alongside.
Apparel manufacturing and garment export have been our only business since 1981, and we work to buyer specification in both womenswear and accessories.
In 2013 we built a dedicated factory to meet growing demand from our customers, with social compliance and product integrity built in from the start. It is equipped with current machinery and run to an organised production and quality management system.
Our range covers high fashion women's garments and fashion accessories: scarves, shawls, pareos, wraps, bandanas, beachwear, ponchos, vests, kimonos and ruanas. We work in natural fabrics including cotton, silk and wool, and in man-made fabrics including polyester, viscose, nylon, rayon, modal and blends.
Our design team follows fashion trends continuously, so the samples we present are in line with what the market is asking for. Value additions such as bead work, fringing, lace and embroidery are worked in-house rather than subcontracted.
Our strength is a well-trained production team that makes the product to the agreed quality and ships it on time, under the direction of the management team.
We believe in doing business ethically and in providing social security for our workers. The factory maintains proper working standards with the health and safety of workers in view. Our factory is audited for social compliance by Intertek and Elevate. Bureau Veritas and SGS carry out product testing, and PTS carries out product inspection. We have also been assessed under the CTPAT security programme for US big retail chains, through SCAN.
Our products sell worldwide, with the USA, Europe, Australia and Japan as our principal markets, and reach US big retail chains through our importer customers. Many of our customers have been with us for decades, which we take as the measure of our reliability. Our aim is unchanged: good quality, delivered on time.
