Beach Cover-Up and Kimono Manufacturer

We manufacture kimonos, kaftans, ponchos and beach cover-ups for swim, resort and lifestyle brands, producing 50,000 woven garments a month at our 22,000 sq ft facility in Vasai. Printed, plain and embellished, in viscose, rayon, cotton, modal and blends, with lace, embroidery and trim work handled in-house. Exporting since 1981.

What we produce

Kimonos. Open-front, tie-waist and belted styles, printed or plain.

Kaftans. Short and full-length, plain, printed or embellished.

Ponchos. Woven and knit-blend, fringed or plain-edged.

Beach cover-ups. Shirt dresses, tunics and wrap styles for swim ranges.

Value additions. Lace inserts, embroidery, tassels, crochet trim and bead work, all in-house.

How we work

Send us a tech pack, artwork or a reference sample and we will come back with pricing and a sampling timeline the same working day. Samples are developed in-house, usually within two to four weeks, or immediately where the fabric is already in stock.

Our QA team works on the production floor throughout, inspecting against your parameters rather than ours alone.

Common Questions

  • From 300 pieces per style and colourway, and lower on repeat programmes once the pattern and fabric are approved. We quote against fabric availability and take both large-scale and small-batch runs.

  • Both. Kimonos, kaftans and ponchos are usually produced one-size or in a two-size range, since the cut carries the fit. Tunics, shirt dresses and belted styles we grade to your size chart on bust, hip and length. Tell us which you want at tech pack stage and we will pattern accordingly.

  • Most beach cover-ups are deliberately sheer, and we work down to 30 GSM for that. Where you want more coverage we can move up the weight range, change to a tighter weave, or add a partial lining or contrast panel through the body. Opacity is a sampling decision — tell us how it should sit over swimwear and we will match it.

  • Lightweight viscose, rayon, modal, cotton and cotton blends, chosen for drape and quick drying. We also work in linen and hemp for structured resort pieces. Heavier wools and winter-weight fabrics from our wider range are not usually suitable for this category.

  • Yes. Send artwork or a reference swatch and we will match print and colour so the cover-up sits alongside your swim range. Where a set needs to align exactly, we cut from a single dye lot so the shades do not drift between pieces.

  • Samples in two to four weeks, or immediately where the fabric is already in stock. Bulk runs 45 to 90 days from approved sample, depending on fabric availability and quantity. All sample development is in-house.

  • FOB as standard, other Incoterms on request. Payment is DP at sight or part advance against order.
