What we produce

Day dresses. Woven, printed and plain, in viscose, rayon, cotton and blends. Set-in or raglan sleeves, self-faced or fully lined bodices.

Maxi and midi dresses. Tiered, panelled and A-line constructions with gathered or elasticated waists and drawstring detailing.

Slip dresses. Cut on the bias in satin and silk-feel fabrics, with lace insertion at bust and hem, adjustable straps and French-seamed edges.

Shirt dresses and wrap dresses. Full button placket or tie-waist wrap, with collar, cuff and yoke construction to your specification.

Value additions. Lace insertion, machine and hand embroidery, beadwork and appliqué at neckline, bodice and hem.

Fit and grading

Dresses are graded on bust, waist, hip and centre-back length. Length grading is what separates a dress programme from a top programme, and it is where most fit problems originate, so we grade to your chart rather than to a house block.

We produce a fit sample before bulk on every new style. For bias-cut and slip constructions we recommend a second fit sample after fabric relaxation, because bias drape changes measurably between the cutting table and the finished garment.

Lined or unlined to your specification. Where a fabric is sheer enough to require it, we will flag lining at sampling rather than waiting for your comment.

How we work

Send us a tech pack, artwork or a reference sample to manoj@manojexpo.com and we will come back with pricing and a sampling timeline the same working day. Samples are developed in-house, usually within two to four weeks, or immediately where the fabric is already in stock.

Our QA team works on the production floor throughout, inspecting against your parameters rather than ours alone.

  • Yes, lined or unlined to your specification. We self-line bodices as standard on sheer wovens and will raise lining at sampling where a fabric needs it.
